One day a very good friend of mine told me that she admires my lifestyle and asked for tips to improve her life as well. I was happy to put my thoughts into words and why not share them with all of you, my friends. I have been creating my own life since I started reading lifestyle blogs and following youtubers who seem to live the life of their dreams. I am so thankful to social media influencers for inspiring me every day to take control over my own life. Some things in life you can’t control but you can decide the direction which way you’re moving.

  1. Think about what you want in life. Ask yourself what makes you happy – is it a fit body, a lot of friends, a job you admire. It could be anything. And if you don’t know what it is, start exploring! What did you enjoy doing when you were little? Don’t judge yourself if you don’t want the same things as people around you. At the end of the day you should be doing whatever feeds YOUR soul. It’s like real life Sims, except you’re the character now. I suggest you do a brainstorm and write down all the ideas, then you can go further to create a vision of your dream ilfe. Or if you’re more of a visual person, print or cut out pictures to make a visionboard.
  2. Find ways to make your vision a reality. For example if you want a fit body, you should probably start working out and eating healthy; if you want a lot of friends, you should go out and communicate with people – find events that interest you and you’ll find likeminded people as well; if you have a dream job, learn everything you can to make yourself valuable for this job. If you have no idea how to achieve what you want, reach out to people who have achieved the same things. It’s all about the courage and belief that you can make your dreams come true.
  3. Set your priorities and make a plan. Make it your priority to take time to find healthy recipes and cook; maybe instead of watching the next episode of a reality show, get your butt to the gym. And do the opposite if you want to become an expert of reality shows. The only thing to keep in mind is to think about the bigger picture. What would be the things that serve you in 20 years as well? Wellness and education are investments for life. A plan helps you form a routine that will help you stick to your goals. If you have a busy life then knowing that you have to read the next chapter every night will keep you from wathing TV instead.
  4. Do what you have to do, keep up the motivation and don’t forget to rest. Now that you know which stairway takes you to your goals, it is important to start climbing. Even a small step every day is a step forward. Find friends or influencers with the same goals, analyse your progress and remind yourself why you’re doing all this. There will be days when everything seems pointless and you’ll probably feel even more confused than before. But that’s what makes you grow.

Remember, you create your own happiness. You will start enjoying your life the moment you decide to enjoy your life. If you have something to complain about, you should probably ask yourself if you can change something. Your vision will evolve as you grow and it’s totally normal to change your priorities over time. It is all about improvement and being a better person that you were yesterday, living a better life that you lived yesterday.
